Guided Rockhounding Tours: What to Expect

When you arrive at the house, we’ll have a bit of paperwork, and you can browse our displayed rocks. Then we will travel by vehicle or hike to the appropriate site for your tour. I can loan you a five gallon bucket, but if your coming in a large group, I only have a few buckets. Bring plenty of water and snacks. If you want to bring a lunch and eat on the trail, no problem.

Except for special events, I only book one person or group at a time, so you have my full attention. I will help load and carry rocks to your vehicle. When we’re done, we’ll head back to the house for a weigh in and checkout. You have my time for the full day of your rockhounding trip.

Planning Your Rockhounding Tour

Below is information and directions to help you plan your trip to Willett Creek Agate Co. You will be asked to sign a release of liability and acknowledge our collection policies when you check in. You can read the Willett Creek Agate Collection Policies here.

  1. I’m an avid rock hound especially since I retired. I read that you have rose bud agate on your place. I’m interested in finding some when I can get away. To schedule a visit, do I send a message and wait for your reply?
    Thanks
